Fundraising

• Events are held throughout the year to raise money to support the services run by Age Concern
• The need for our help has increased rapidly recently and this puts huge strains on support for services that really make a difference to older people's lives - like the day centres, the advocacy department and our benefits advice team
• We are particularly grateful to those clubs and groups that hold fundrasing events on our behalf
• In 2010 Age Concern will celebrate 60 years of working in Shropshire. To mark our anniversary we plan an appeal to raise funds for a new service to help dementia suffers and their carers.
